Driver Drishti Campaign: Free Eye Check-Up and Cataract Surgery for Commercial Drivers Across ASG Centers

Good vision is essential for safe driving. Commercial drivers spend long hours on the road, often ignoring eye health until vision problems begin affecting their work and safety. To support and empower India’s driving community, ASG Eye Hospital has launched the “Driver Drishti Campaign”, a nationwide eye care initiative for commercial drivers.

Campaign Duration

11th January to 11th February 2026

The campaign will be conducted across 180+ ASG Eye Hospital centers in India.

Who Can Avail This Offer?

The Driver Drishti Campaign is exclusively for commercial drivers, including:

• Auto drivers
• Taxi & cab drivers
• Bus drivers
• Truck drivers

Eligible participants must carry any one of the following valid IDs:

1. Commercial Driving Licence
2. OLA / Uber / Rapido driver ID
3. Identification from any recognized cab agency

This offer is not applicable for personal drivers.

What’s Included in the Free Eye Care Offer?

Free Eye Check-Up

All eligible commercial drivers can avail a completely free comprehensive eye check-up at ASG Eye Hospital centers during the campaign period.

Free Cataract Surgery (Limited Slots)

The campaign includes 1,000 free cataract surgeries, distributed as:

• 350 surgeries – ASG Centers
• 350 surgeries – Vasan Centers
• 300 surgeries – Inorganic Partner Centers

What Is Covered Under the Free Cataract Surgery?

The free cataract surgery package includes:

• Complete eye check-up
• Required investigations
• Free cataract surgery with a basic lens
• Biometry at no cost
• Post-operative medicines: ( Eye Drop Decamox , Eye Drop Cellusooth, Tablet Biguard (SOS) )
• Protective post-operative glasses

 Approval & Process Guidelines

To ensure transparency and medical governance:

Free cataract surgeries require prior approval from the Medical Director or Regional COO

Relevant documents must be submitted before approval

2. Walk in directly to any ASG Eye Hospital center

Simply carry a valid commercial driver ID for verification.
